I found him shortly after you went missing, he was resting, but nothing would stir him. For two days I watched him for any change and awaited your return, and on the third I took him to be seen. The doctors placed him in their care, fed and watered him through his blood, and watched over him while I searched for you. I would come back in the evenings and see if he had woken yet. Today he awoke and had no knowledge of what happened and was wary of my gaze. I would not have him view me as a wolf lurking around a flock, and so we agreed to forget our mutual... transgressions.

They know nothing of the cause.
